...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 530 PM PDT FOR SAN
BERNARDINO COUNTY...

AT 252 PM PDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS THAT WERE
PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA HAVE DIMINISHED.
HOWEVER...FLASH FLOODING MAY STILL OCCUR OVER THE NEXT HOUR.
ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP OVER THE AREA THROUGH THIS
EVENING.

SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
APPLE VALLEY AND LUCERNE VALLEY...AND HIGHWAYS 18 AND 247.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD RELATED DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS WATER COVERED BRIDGES...
DIPS...OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...
EVEN A SMALL ONE...ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER FIND ANOTHER ROUTE
OVER HIGHER GROUND.

STAY AWAY OR BE SWEPT AWAY. RIVER BANKS AND CULVERTS CAN BECOME
UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE.
