The National Weather Service in Wakefield has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Central Accomack County in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 600 PM EDT

* At 258 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen since 2 pm EDT. Additional very heavy rainfall is
  expected over the same area for the next several hours which may
  cause an additional 2 to 3 inches of rainfall. Flash flooding is
  expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Onancock, Parksley, Onley, Accomac, Melfa, Bloxom, Keller,
  Harborton, Mappsville, Nelsonia, Modest Town, Pungoteague, Clam,
  Guilford and Tasley.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
