  NORTH CENTRAL SOCORRO COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 945 PM MDT

* AT 842 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  RAIN ENDING OVER THE ADVISORY AREA. HOWEVER...1 TO 2 INCHES HAS
  FALLEN WITHIN PORTIONS OF THE AREA...WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS
  ON THE NORTH SLOPE OF LADRON PEAK WEST OF BERNARDO. STRONG AND
  HIGH FLOWS ARE LIKELY IN ARROYOS THAT NEAR COUNTY ROAD B12 AND
  TRIBUTARIES LEADING INTO THE RIO PUERCO...AS WELL AS ALONG HIGHWAY
  304 FROM VEGUITA TO CONTRERAS AND LA JOYA.

  LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...BERNARDO...LA JOYA...ABEYTAS AND
  CONTRERAS.

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 168 AND 179.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BOTH LOCALIZED AND DISTANT HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CREATE DANGEROUS FLOWS
IN ARROYOS AND OVER LOW WATER CROSSINGS.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE THROUGH THESE WATERS.  WATER IN ARROYOS MAY
TRAVEL MANY MILES AND TAKE HOURS TO REACH
YOUR LOCATION FROM UPSTREAM RAIN AREAS.
