.The recent rainfall along with snow melt will push river levels
above flood stage along the Yellow River Necedah.

River forecasts take into account both observed and forecast
precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Do not drive cars into flooded areas. Remember, it only takes two
feet of water to float most automobiles, including sport utility
vehicles. Turn Around, Don`t Drown!

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Yellow River AT Necedah.
* from Thursday morning to Wednesday March 01...Or until the warning
  is cancelled.
* At  6:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 12.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by Thursday morning and continue
  to rise to near 17.8 feet by Friday morning. The river will fall
  below flood stage by Tuesday.
