The National Weather Service in Columbia has issued a

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
  North central Lexington County in central South Carolina...
  Northwestern Richland County in central South Carolina...

* Until 430 PM EDT

* At 334 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause localized flooding in urban areas
  and near small streams in the advisory area. Up to one inch of
  rain has fallen within the past half hour.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lexington, Irmo, St. Andrews, Dentsville and Seven Oaks.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause ponding of water on
roadways in urban areas as well as other drainage areas and low
lying spots.
