...The Flood Advisory continues for the Russian River...
  Russian River near Hopland affecting Mendocino County

The current weather is dominated by a storm system crossing the region to our north. Showers and isolated thunderstorms will continue to develop today, with westerly up-slope flow aiding in precipitation development. Although most of the precipitation will be light, rivers will continue to rise through the afternoon, due to the widespread rainfall coverage and amounts that occurred since yesterday.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Do not drive your car across flooded roadways. It only takes about
two feet of water to float most vehicles. For area road conditions...
call CALTRANS at 1-800-427-7623.

* FORECAST...This river is Forecast to fluctuate near 17.5 FT thru
  early this morning then forecast to recede to near 4.5 FT early
  Saturday morning then forecast to fluctuate near 4.5 FT thru early
  Saturday morning.
