Warning for the following rivers in Kentucky...

  Elkhorn Creek Near Peaks Mill

affecting the following counties in Kentucky...Franklin.

.Heavy rain over the last couple days will cause the river to rise.

The National Weather Service in Louisville KY has issued a

* Flood Warning for
  the Elkhorn Creek Near Peaks Mill.
* until this evening.
* At 12:15 PM Saturday the stage was 9.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this afternoon and continue to
  rise to near 10.0 feet by this afternoon. The river will fall below
  flood stage by this afternoon.
* Impact...At 11.0 feet...Schoolhouse Road floods.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 11.4
  feet on Nov 29 2011.
