Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central South Carolina
and East Central Georgia
National Weather Service Columbia SC
247 PM EDT Tue Mar 28 2017

.DISCUSSION...
A cold front will move through the forecast area tonight and stall down
near the CSRA...where a few showers may linger until sunset. High
pressure and drier air will build in after midnight and during the day on
Tuesday. Breezy conditions are expected overnight with fair dispersion...
so fog is not expected. On Wednesday the high will move offshore and
strengthening east to southeast flow allows Atlantic moisture to push
back into the region. Showers and thunderstorms will develop late
Thursday and into Friday as the old cold front re-energizes and
pushes northward as a warm front.
