FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE STATE COLLEGE PA
330 PM EDT MON JUL 6 2015

.DISCUSSION...
A WEAK BUT MOISTURE LADEN LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DRIFT NORTH
THROUGH THE DISTRICT TODAY...BRINGING NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA THROUGH THIS EVENING.

A WEAK RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN TUESDAY...RESULTING
IN A WARM AND HUMID...BUT MAINLY RAIN-FREE TUESDAY WITH JUST THE
CHANCE OF A PASSING SHOWER OR THUNDERSTORM. A COLD FRONT
WILL PUSH SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE STATE TUESDAY NIGHT. THE COLD FRONT
WILL STALL OUT NEAR...OR JUST SOUTH OF THE MASON DIXON LINE LATER
THIS WEAK. THIS BOUNDARY WILL ACT AS A PATHWAY FOR A FEW WAVES
OF LOW PRESSURE TO RIPPLE EAST ALONG AND BRING A FEW MORE ROUNDS
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS LATE WEDNESDAY...AND AGAIN THURSDAY.

WINDS WILL STAY GENERALLY LIGHT AND FROM THE EAST TO SOUTHEAST FOR
TODAY THROUGH TUESDAY.
