FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR NORTHERN ALABAMA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HUNTSVILLE AL
156 PM CDT WED SEP 17 2014

.DISCUSSION...

A WEAK DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS NORTH ALABAMA TONIGHT INTO EARLY
TOMORROW MORNING WHICH MAY BRING ISOLATED SHOWERS. LIGHT WINDS AND
MIXING HEIGHTS AROUND 4000 FEET WILL YIELD GENERALLY POOR TO FAIR
DISPERSION TOMORROW WITH SOMEWHAT WARMER TEMPERATURES.

MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES ARE EXPECTED TO DROP CLOSE TO 35
PERCENT ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON. MIXING HEIGHTS WILL BE HIGHER ON FRIDAY,
NEAR 5500 FEET WHICH COMBINED WITH EASTERLY TRANSPORT WINDS OF 5-6
MPH SHOULD YIELD FAIR DISPERSION. THEN, THE FORECAST SHOULD BE
GENERALLY DRY THROUGH SUNDAY NIGHT WITH AN ADDITIONAL CHANCE FOR
RAIN ON MONDAY.
