Fire Weather Planning Forecast For Extreme Southeast Arkansas,
Northeast Louisiana, and Central Mississippi
National Weather Service Jackson MS
427 AM CST Thu Jan 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Temperatures will warm to a range of the upper 30s to lower 40s
this afternoon after a frigid start to the day. No fog is
anticipated this morning or tomorrow morning. Winds will be
very light today, which is good considering minimum afternoon
RH values over portions of central and eastern MS will range from
20 to 30 percent. Minimum RH values will likely not be quite as
low tomorrow but there will be a bit of wind from the south so
we will have to monitor for a bit of fire weather concern.
