FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR SOUTHWESTERN CALIFORNIA
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LOS ANGELES/OXNARD CA
301 PM PDT TUE JUN 2 2015

.DISCUSSION...

A BROAD TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE AND ONSHORE FLOW WILL CONTINUE TO
KEEP FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS RELATIVELY LOW FOR MOST OF THE AREA
THROUGH TOMORROW. BRIEF CRITICAL CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE FOR
THE ANTELOPE VALLEY THROUGH TOMORROW...AS GUSTY WEST TO SOUTHWEST
WINDS COMBINE WITH LOW HUMIDITIES DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS.
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE LATER IN THE WEEK AS A
LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES IN FROM THE NORTH. THERE IS NO LONGER A
SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS IN THE FORECAST FOR FRIDAY AND
SATURDAY...AS IT APPEARS REMNANT MOISTURE FROM HURRICANE ANDRES
WILL STAY WELL TO THE EAST. FIRE WEATHER CONCERNS ARE EXPECTED TO
REMAIN RELATIVELY LOW EARLY NEXT WEEK...WITH WEAK LOW PRESSURE
PERSISTING OVER THE WEST COAST.
