Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the MidSouth
National Weather Service Memphis TN
535 AM CST Sat Feb 24 2018

.DISCUSSION...

Heavy rainfall is expected today as a series of upper level
disturbances and a cold front move across the Mid-South. Flooding
is a major concern due to bankfull rivers, creeks, and streams.
Strong to severe thunderstorms are also possible this afternoon
into the overnight hours capable of producing damaging wind.
Downed trees will be possible due to heavily saturated grounds.

Temperatures will be very mild on Saturday with readings in the
mid to upper 70s areawide as a warm front lifts across the area.
Temperatures will turn slightly cooler Sunday into next week, but
remain above normal. Rain chances will diminish Sunday into early
next week, but return by midweek as does the chance for active
weather.
