...Some rain today then a drying trend into the weekend...

.DISCUSSION: Expect some showers and thunderstorms through
the day ahead of a cold front. A few showers are also possible
Thursday afternoon and evening mainly along the Wisconsin border.
Otherwise a drying trend will take place into the weekend as
high pressure settles across the region. Winds today will remain
gusty over the east but will diminish elsewhere. Light winds are
then expected Thursday into the weekend with the high. High
temperatures through the weekend will reach the upper 70s to lower
80s most days away from the Great Lakes. Low temperatures will
be seasonable with 40s inland and 50s near the Great Lakes shores.
