.DISCUSSION...THE THERMAL TROUGH WILL REMAIN JUST OFF THE CURRY COAST
THIS MORNING WITH OFFSHORE FLOW SKIMMING OVER THE RIDGE. HIGHS WILL
BE ABOUT THE SAME AS YESTERDAY BUT HUMIDITY WILL BE SLIGHTLY HIGHER
DUE TO A WEAKENING OFFSHORE FLOW. THE THERMAL TROUGH IS EXPECTED TO
MOVE INLAND TODAY. RIDGES MAY SEE WIND SHIFTING TO ONSHORE FLOW BUT
THE BURN AREA IS EXPECTED TO SEE MAINLY SLOPE DRIVEN WINDS. BY LATE
AFTERNOON THERE COULD BE A MORE ONSHORE WINDS MOVING WINDS UP THE
RIVER VALLEYS. THE FORECAST FOR FRIDAY HINGES ON STRATUS CLOUDS
SURGING UP THE COAST IN A SOUTHERLY FLOW. UNDER THIS SCENARIO
HUMIDITY WOULD BE QUITE HIGH ON FRIDAY WITH MUCH LOWER MIXING HEIGHT.
