.DISCUSSION...Warm and dry conditions will prevail over the next
several days. Daytime mixing heights will be excellent, but mixing
winds will be weak. Surface winds throughout the next few days will
be light, and this could lead to periods of variability due to
localized effects and weak prevailing flow. The primary concern for
the burn will be the threat of thunderstorms Sunday, Monday, and
Tuesday afternoons, which may develop over the Cascades and drift
towards the burn site. Be prepared for gusty, variable winds and
lightning with these storms, should they develop.
