VALLEY...TACONICS...AND SOUTHERN VERMONT.

A WEAK LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING LIGHT SNOW TO THE AREA
BEGINNING THIS EVENING INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. 1 TO 2 INCHES OF
SNOW IS POSSIBLE OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS, WITH UP TO AN INCH IN
VALLEYS. TRAVELERS ARE URGED TO USE CAUTION.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
THE COLDEST AIR OF THE SEASON SO FAR WILL INVADE THE AREA THURSDAY
NIGHT INTO THE WEEKEND. LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL BE POSSIBLE
WITH SPOTTY LIGHT ACCUMULATION...ESPECIALLY OVER THE HIGHER
TERRAIN OF THE GREEN MOUNTAINS OF SOUTHERN VERMONT AND THE
BERKSHIRES. WIND CHILLS WILL DROP INTO THE TEENS AT TIMES...WITH
SINGLE DIGITS OVER HIGHER ELEVATIONS.

HAMILTON COUNTIES, BUT ACCUMULATING SNOW IS ALSO LIKELY OVER THE
MOHAWK VALLEY AND EASTERN CATSKILLS. LAKE EFFECT SNOW WARNINGS
AND/OR ADVISORIES WILL LIKELY BE NEEDED. WIND CHILLS ARE EXPECTED
TO BE IN THE SINGLE DIGITS AND TEENS THURSDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY.
