THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE COASTAL COUNTIES OF DEEP
SOUTH TEXAS AND THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

TIDES WILL RUN UP TO NEAR THE DUNES ON PORTIONS OF SOUTH PADRE
ISLAND AT HIGH TIDE THIS EVENING...A COUPLE HOURS AFTER SUNSET.
DRIVING WILL BE DIFFICULT TO IMPOSSIBLE FROM BEACH ACCESS 4
NORTHWARD.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SATURDAY NIGHT: A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL CLOUD
TO GROUND LIGHTNING. ONE OR TWO STORMS IN NORTHERN KENEDY COUNTY
COULD BE STRONG ENOUGH TO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL AND GUSTY WINDS.

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS MAY DEVELOP THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT MAINLY
FROM STARR COUNTY THROUGH THE RANCHLANDS. PRIMARY HAZARDS WILL BE
OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING THOUGH STRONGER STORMS MAY
PRODUCE SMALL HAIL AND BRIEFLY GUSTY WINDS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A FEW THUNDERSTORMS SATURDAY EVENING MAINLY ACROSS THE RANCHLANDS
WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING. A COUPLE STORMS
MAY BECOME STRONG WITH LARGE HAIL...FAVORING THE NORTHERN
RANCHLANDS INCLUDING ZAPATA...HEBBRONVILLE...AND FALFURRIAS.

LOCALLY HAZARDOUS SEAS OF 7 OR 8 FEET WILL CONTINUE FOR THE
OFFSHORE WATERS BEYOND 20 NAUTICAL MILES AND SOUTHEAST WINDS WILL
GUST TO 20 KNOTS AT TIMES.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY: SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS THUNDERSTORMS
WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING AND POSSIBLE WIND
GUSTS TO 30 KNOTS...FAVORING THE WATERS NORTH OF PORT MANSFIELD.

SUNDAY NIGHT: GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS WILL SPREAD
ACROSS THE GULF WATERS OVERNIGHT AND SEAS WILL BUILD LOCALLY TO 7
FEET. A FEW MAINLY EVENING THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE OCCASIONAL
CLOUD TO WATER LIGHTNING.

MONDAY: NORTHWEST WINDS 20 TO 25 KNOTS AND SEAS 7 FEET OR HIGHER
WILL CONTINUE OVER MUCH OF THE GULF WATERS.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT: NORTH WINDS WILL INCREASE
RAPIDLY TO 25 KNOTS WITH GUSTS TO GALE FORCE...AND SEAS WILL
LIKELY BUILD TO 10 TO 12 FEET IN SOME LOCATIONS ESPECIALLY IN THE
GULF BEYOND 20 NAUTICAL MILES OUT.
