OF CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
THE MAIN STORM THREATS TODAY WILL BE STRONG TO DAMAGING WINDS...
FREQUENT LIGHTNING... HEAVY DOWNPOURS AND DIME TO QUARTER SIZED
HAIL.

DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND AHEAD OF A COLD
FRONT THAT WILL SAG INTO CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS AFTERNOON AND
EVENING. A FEW OF THESE STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE...
WITH THE GREATEST SEVERE STORM THREAT GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF
A COLUMBUS TO MACON TO LOUISVILLE LINE... AND MAINLY BETWEEN 2 PM
AND 10 PM TODAY.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA
WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DROPS
FROM THE OHIO VALLEY INTO THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS. OTHERWISE DRY
WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD.
