URGENT - MARINE WEATHER MESSAGE

...GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS AND ELEVATED SEAS EXPECTED FOR THE
CENTRAL AND NORTHERN WATERS TODAY THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...

.A TIGHT NORTHWESTERLY PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL DEVELOP BETWEEN A
STRENGTHENING AREA OF LOW PRESSURE OFF THE MID-ATLANTIC STATES
AND HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE SOUTHERN U.S. NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
INCREASE TO 20 TO 30 KNOTS WITH SEAS BUILDING 6 TO 9 FEET FOR THE
CENTRAL AND NORTHERN COASTAL WATERS. WINDS WILL SUBSIDE BELOW
SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CRITERIA FOR THE ALBEMARLE AND PAMLICO SOUNDS
THURSDAY. WINDS AND SEAS WILL SUBSIDE BELOW SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY
LEVELS FOR THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN COASTAL WATERS BY FRIDAY
