...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM EST THIS MORNING...

...WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO
7 PM EST THIS EVENING...

The National Weather Service in Taunton has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM EST this morning.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Location...Along and southeast of the Boston to Providence
  corridor.

* Winds...South 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing...Strongest winds this afternoon and early evening.

* Impacts...A few weakened trees may be knocked down along with
  the risk for isolated power outages.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained winds of 31 to 39 mph are
expected, with gusts between 46 to 57 mph. Winds this strong are
capable of downing small tree limbs and branches, possibly
causing isolated power outages. Driving can also be difficult,
especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile, for at least 3 hours. If
driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM EST this morning.

* Location...The high terrain of the Worcester Hills, northwest
  Rhode Island and northeast Connecticut including the Greater
  Hartford area.

* Visibilities...One quarter mile or less at times.

* Timing...Through mid morning Tuesday.

* Impacts...Dense fog will result in hazardous travel for
  motorists into mid morning. Drive with extra caution and leave
  plenty of space between the vehicle in front of you.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile, for at least 3 hours. If
driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of
distance ahead of you.

* Impacts...Dense fog will result in hazardous travel for
  motorists into mid morning. Drive with extra caution and leave
  plenty of space between the vehicle in front of you.
