...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM SATURDAY TO 3 AM EST
SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM Saturday to 3 AM EST
Sunday.

* Locations...Much of north Georgia, along and north of a line
  from Franklin to Peachtree City to Athens to Danielsville.

* Winds...During the late morning hours on Saturday, southwest
  winds will increase to 20 to 35 mph in the higher elevations of
  the mountains and continue into Saturday afternoon while the
  rest of north Georgia will see southwest winds of 10 to 20 mph
  with a few higher gusts. During the evening hours Saturday
  northwest winds will spread across all of north Georgia with
  wind speeds increasing to 20 to 30 mph with gusts of 35 to 40
  mph.

* Timing...10 AM Saturday until 3 AM Sunday.

* Impacts...Strong winds will bring down large tree limbs and
  some weaker trees. Unsecured outdoor items may be blown around.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Advisory means that sustained wind speeds of at least
20 mph...or gusts to 35 mph or stronger are expected. Winds this
strong can make driving difficult...especially for high profile
vehicles. Use extra caution.
