...HIGH WIND WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Portland has issued a High Wind
Watch, which is in effect from Saturday morning through late
Saturday night.

* WINDS...For beaches and headlands, 30 to 40 mph with gusts to 65
  mph. In the coastal communities, 25 to 35 mph with gusts 50 to
  60 mph. In the higher elevations of the coastal mountains, 25 to
  35 mph with gusts 50 to 60 mph.

* TIMING...Winds beginning Saturday morning and continuing at
  times through Saturday night.

* IMPACTS...Damaging winds could result in tree damage, including
  downed limbs and power lines. Isolated power outages are
  possible. travel will be difficult, especially for high profile
  vehicles and trailers.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A High Wind Watch means there is the potential for a hazardous
high wind event. Sustained winds of at least 40 mph, or gusts of
58 mph or stronger may occur. Continue to monitor the latest
forecasts.
