THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PORTLAND HAS ISSUED A HEAT
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT SUNDAY.

* TIMING: THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

* HIGH TEMPERATURES: 90 TO 95 DEGREES...EXCEPT NEAR 100 DEGREES
  FOR THE CENTRAL COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE AND THE UPPER HOOD RIVER
  VALLEY.

* LOW TEMPERATURES: 60 TO 65 DEGREES.

* DURATION: SUNDAY SHOULD BE THE LAST HOT DAY. TEMPERATURES WILL
  GRADUALLY COOL EACH DAY WITH DAYTIME TEMPERATURES BELOW 90
  DEGREES BY TUESDAY.

* LOCATIONS INCLUDE: EUGENE...SPRINGFIELD...CORVALLIS...
  ALBANY...ODELL...SALEM...MCMINNVILLE...HILLSBORO...

ADVISORY FOR THE COAST RANGE AND THE CASCADE FOOTHILLS.

TEMPERATURES WILL BE SLIGHTLY COOLER SUNDAY RESULTING IN THE
CANCELLATION OF THE HEAT ADVISORY. TEMPERATURES WILL STILL BE WARM
AND PEAK BETWEEN 85 AND 95 DEGREES. THE THREAT FOR TEMPERATURES
NEAR 100 DEGREES HAS ENDED.
