...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TO 7 PM PST TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Las Vegas has issued a Wind
Advisory, which is in effect from 10 AM to 7 PM PST Tuesday.

* TIMING...Winds will increase late Tuesday morning, peak during
  the afternoon then gradually decrease in the evening.

* WINDS...South-southwest winds gusting 40 to 50 mph can be
  expected across much of south central Nevada and Red Rock
  Canyon. Gusts of 55-65 mph will occur in exposed areas of the
  Spring Mountains above 7000 feet.

* IMPACTS...Winds gusting over 40 mph can make driving
  difficult...especially for high profile vehicles on east-west
  oriented roads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drivers of vans...campers...trailers...and other high profile
vehicles should be alert to the danger of these winds.
