West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...Tropical Storm Jose was located
near 39.5N 68.2W at 11 PM EDT tonight, and was moving
east-northeast or 060 degrees at 05 kt. Jose will move to 39.6N
67.7W at 8 AM Thu, to 39.5N 67.7W by 8 PM Thu night, to 39.5N
68.5W by 8 AM Fri, to 39.4N 69.0W by 8 PM Fri night as a
post-tropical low, to 39.1N 69.4W by 8 PM Sat night, to 39.0N
70.2W by 8 PM Sun night, then dissipate by 8 PM Mon night.
Hurricane Maria will approach from the S Mon, and move over the S
waters to 32.0N 71.0W by 8 pm Mon night. S to SE swell from Maria
will move through the area Fri into Mon night. Refer to the
latest National Hurricane Center advisories on Tropical Storm
Jose and Hurricane Maria. Otherwise, a high pres ridge will build
over the S waters tonight through Fri, then weaken Fri night.
