DISCUSSION:

UNSETTLED AND SHOWERY WEATHER WILL CONTINUE THROUGH TONIGHT IN
ASSOCIATION WITH TWO LOW PRESSURE SYSTEMS.

RAIN AND SNOWFALL AMOUNTS TODAY WILL BE HIGHLY VARIABLE DUE TO THE
SHOWERY NATURE OF THIS SYSTEM. SOME AREAS WILL RECEIVE LITTLE OR NO
RAINFALL AND OTHER SITES COULD SEE OVER AN INCH OF RAIN. RAINFALL
RATES COULD REACH AN INCH PER HOUR UNDER THE HEAVIER SHOWERS OR
THUNDERSTORMS. THERE IS ALSO A POSSIBILITY OF TRAINING WHICH COULD
LEAD TO LOCALLY HEAVIER RAINFALL AMOUNTS.

THERE WILL BE A THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT THE
BEST CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE THIS EVENING. THUNDERSTORMS
THAT DEVELOP THIS EVENING UNDER THE CORE OF THE UPPER LOW WILL MOVE
SLOWLY AND THIS WILL PLACE THE RECENT BURN AREAS UNDER A HIGHER RISK
OF FLASH FLOODING.

AFTER TONIGHTS SHOWERS...AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF WARM AND DRY WEATHER
IS EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF NEXT WEEK AS A LARGE AREA OF HIGH
PRESSURE DEVELOPS.
