...RECORD DAILY MAXIMUM RAINFALL AND RECORD LOW MAXIMUM SET AT TAMPA
AND ST. PETERSBURG TODAY...

THROUGH 7 PM EDT...A NEW DAILY RECORD RAINFALL OF 3.34 INCHES HAS
BEEN SET AT TAMPA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD
OF 3.02 INCHES SET IN 1960 AND WITH MORE RAIN EXPECTED THIS TOTAL
WILL CONTINUE TO CLIMB. ALSO...A NEW DAILY RECORD LOW MAXIMUM OF 78
DEGREES WILL LIKELY BE SET AT TAMPA. THE OLD RECORD DAILY LOW
MAXIMUM FOR TODAY IS 81 SET IN 1985...1939 AND 1937.

THROUGH 7 PM EDT...A NEW DAILY RECORD RAINFALL OF 4.33 INCHES HAS
BEEN SET AT ST. PETERSBURG - ALBERT WHITTED AIRPORT. THIS BREAKS THE
OLD RECORD OF 1.79 INCHES SET IN 1932 AND WITH MORE RAIN EXPECTED
THIS TOTAL WILL CONTINUE TO CLIMB. ALSO...A NEW DAILY RECORD LOW
MAXIMUM OF 79 DEGREES WILL LIKELY BE SET AT ST PETERSBURG. THE OLD
RECORD DAILY LOW MAXIMUM FOR TODAY IS 80 SET IN 1939.
