A RECORD RAINFALL OF 0.93 INCH(ES) WAS SET AT LAS VEGAS NV YESTERDAY.
THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 0.35 SET IN 1973. THIS DAILY RAINFALL
WAS ALSO THE SECOND HIGHEST EVER RECORDED IN THE MONTH OF APRIL.
RECORDS DATE BACK TO 1937.

A RECORD RAINFALL OF 0.42 INCH(ES) WAS SET AT DESERT ROCK-MERCURY NV
YESTERDAY. THIS BREAKS THE OLD RECORD OF 0.08 SET IN 1980. RECORDS
DATE BACK TO 1978.
