FIRE DANGER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
540 AM CST MON NOV 20 2017

...VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS NE OK...

DRY AND MILD CONDITIONS, COUPLED WITH GUSTY WINDS AT 30 TO 35 MPH,
WILL CREATE A VERY HIGH FIRE DANGER THIS AFTERNOON, ESPECIALLY
ACROSS NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA. MINIMUM RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES WILL
FALL TO AROUND 30 PERCENT. THE REGION REMAINS VERY DRY WITH LIMITED
RAINFALL OVER THE PAST FEW WEEKS. CURED VEGETATION WILL ALLOW ANY
WILDFIRES TO SPREAD RAPIDLY. AVOID FIRE STARTS AND QUICKLY REPORT
ANY FIRES TO LOCAL OFFICIALS.

FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL IMPROVE AFTER SUNSET AS WINDS BEGIN TO
SUBSIDE AND AS HUMIDITIES START TO RECOVER.
