Water levels can be expected to rise on all the rivers and streams
across the mid south over the weekend. Here are a few...
the L`anguille River in Arkansas...Little Tallahatchie Canal
in Mississippi and the Obion River in Tennessee.


At 8 PM Friday, the stage on the L`anguille River at Palestine was
22.1 feet and steady. Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Obion River near Obion was 31.6 feet.
Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

At 9 PM Friday, the stage on the Little Tallahatchie Canal at Little
Tallahatchie River at Etta near New Albany  was 17.1 feet.
Flood stage is 25.0 feet.

The next River Statement will be issued when conditions
warrant.
