Significant rises are expected on the following river:

For the Little Osage River near Horton.  Flood stage is 41.0 feet.
The latest stage was 33.0 feet at 9 PM Tuesday. The river may rise to
near 39.7 feet by 12 AM Thursday.

For the Marmaton River near Nevada.  Flood stage is 20.0 feet. The
latest stage was 9.2 feet at 9 PM Tuesday. The river may rise to near
18.8 feet by 6 AM Thursday.

For the Sac River near Caplinger Mills.  Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
The latest stage was 10.2 feet at 9 PM Tuesday. The river may rise to
near 14.4 feet by 6 AM Wednesday.

Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood
fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may
cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will
carry most vehicles away.
