Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service Baltimore MD/Washington DC
502 PM EDT Wed Jul 26 2017

Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will move east of the New Jersey shore tonight, then
move over the waters south of New England until early Thursday. A
cold front will approach the region from the northwest Thursday
night, become stationary, then develop into a low pressure system
over the mid-Atlantic on Friday. This will bring unseasonably cooler
than normal temperatures along with rain Thursday night through
Friday night. The rain may be heavy at times Friday during the day
and evening. Scattered rain showers are in the forecast for
Saturday as the low pressure system goes out to sea.

High pressure will move in for Sunday and early next week, with
continued below normal temperatures.
