A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKING ACROSS THE MIDWEST BROUGHT DAMP AND
BLUSTERY CONDITIONS TO THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS THIS MORNING. WINDS INCREASED OUT OF THE NORTHWEST FOR MOST
OF THE MORNING BEHIND A PASSING COLD FRONT. WINDS HAVE GUSTED TO
AROUND 40 MPH ACROSS WESTERN MISSOURI AND EXTREME SOUTHEASTERN
KANSAS THIS MORNING. AFTER EARLY MORNING TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER
40S...LATE MORNING TEMPERATURES HAD FALLEN BACK INTO THE LOWER AND
MIDDLE 40S OVER MOST AREAS.

LIGHT RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD ACROSS THE AREA THIS
AFTERNOON...ESPECIALLY FOR LOCATIONS ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY
65. TEMPERATURES WILL CONTINUE TO SLOWLY DROP THIS AFTERNOON
BEHIND THAT FRONT. A FEW SNOWFLAKES MAY EVEN MIX IN WITH THE RAIN
ACROSS THE CENTRAL AND EASTERN OZARKS. NO ACCUMULATIONS WILL
OCCUR. BRISK AND GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT
THE AFTERNOON.

QUIET AND MILD WEATHER WILL THEN RETURN THIS WEEK WITH
TEMPERATURES WARMING BACK INTO THE 50S AND 60S EACH AFTERNOON
FROM MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.
