...SEA FOG BRUSHING THE CHARLESTON COUNTY COAST...

SURFACE OBSERVATIONS AND COASTAL WEBCAMS INDICATE WIDESPREAD SEA
FOG CONTINUES JUST OFF THE CHARLESTON COUNTY COAST EARLY THIS
MORNING. SOME OF THIS FOG IS OCCASIONALLY MOVE INLAND AND
AFFECTING COASTAL COMMUNITIES ALONG THE CHARLESTON COUNTY
COAST...INCLUDING KIAWAH ISLAND...FOLLY BEACH...ISLE OF
PALMS...WILD DUNES AND MCCLELLANVILLE. VISIBILITIES WERE AS LOW
AS 1/4 MILE AT TIMES. THE RISK FOR SEA FOG AFFECTING THE COASTAL
COMMUNITIES WILL PERSIST THROUGH SUNRISE.

MARINERS ARE URGED TO REMAIN IN PORT GIVEN THE EXTREMELY LOW
VISIBILITIES JUST OFFSHORE. VISIBILITIES COULD ALSO DROP TO NEAR
ZERO AT TIMES IN THE INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY.
