...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN COLES...WESTERN
CLARK AND CUMBERLAND COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CDT...

At 422 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Jewett, or near Toledo, moving northeast at 45 mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Locations impacted include...
Toledo, Casey, Greenup, Martinsville, Westfield, Jewett, Hazel Dell,
Hutton, Woodbury, Fox Ridge State Park and Union Center.

This includes Interstate 70 between mile markers 106 and 137.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
