ARAPAHOE...MINNESOTT BEACH...VANDEMERE...STONEWALL...
MOREHEAD CITY...BEAUFORT...EMERALD ISLE...NEWPORT...JACKSONVILLE

...LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN AND GUSTY WINDS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE
SOUTHERN SECTIONS THROUGH MIDNIGHT...

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO PRODUCE
VERY HEAVY RAIN AND WINDS GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH OVER THE SOUTHERN
TIER. AREAS FROM HUBERT AND SWANSBORO...EAST THROUGH HAVELOCK AND
NEWPORT TO CEDAR ISLAND AND OCRACOKE WILL HAVE THE BEST CHANCE OF
SEEING THE HEAVY RAIN.

THE HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS
INCLUDING DITCHES...CREEKS...ROADWAYS AND AREAS OF POOR DRAINAGE.
AVOID THESE AREAS AND DO NOT CROSS FLOODED ROADS. MOTORISTS SHOULD
ALSO REDUCE DRIVING SPEEDS TO AVOID HYDROPLANING.
