...LOW ELEVATION SNOW EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT...

Another weather system is expected to drop south into Southwest
Washington and Northwest Oregon this afternoon and tonight.
Initial precipitation reaches Southwest Washington late this
morning and then sags south in the afternoon. The precipitation
inland will likely start as snow, initially quite light, before
increasing by evening through the Lower Columbia, Interstate 5
corridor of Cowlitz County, Greater Portland and Vancouver metro
areas and West Columbia River Gorge. See the latest statements for
advisories in effect. The transition to rain in the lowlands is
expected to occur late tonight and early Saturday morning.
