...ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS TODAY...

Conditions will become conducive to a rapid spread of wildland
fires today over extreme southeast Kansas and portions of far
western Missouri.

Southwest wind speeds will approach 20 mph at times this
afternoon, while relative humidity values fall into the upper 20
percent range.
