The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Sumter County in west central Alabama...

* Until 1245 AM CDT

* At 1206 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Porterville,
  or 12 miles north of Lauderdale, moving east at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
           tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
           roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Livingston, Gainesville, Epes, Emelle, Boyd, Panola, Geiger,
  Warsaw, Payneville and Sumterville.
