A POTENT LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL PULL OUT INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS ON
THURSDAY...SPREADING SNOWFALL ACROSS SOUTHERN SOUTH DAKOTA. THIS LOW
WILL STRENGTHEN INTO THURSDAY NIGHT WITH NORTHERLY WINDS INCREASING
AND BECOMING GUSTY. THE HEAVIEST SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL RESIDE
ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF SOUTH DAKOTA INTO SOUTHERN
MINNESOTA...WHERE AMOUNTS COULD REACH A FOOT. NORTHERN PARTS OF
SOUTH DAKOTA LIKELY WONT SEE ANYTHING FROM THIS STORM SYSTEM. BLOWING
SNOW AND LOW VISIBILITY IS ALSO LIKELY OVER SOUTHERN PORTIONS OF THE
REGION.

LOWS TONIGHT WILL DROP INTO THE 20S. HIGHS ON THURSDAY WILL RISE INTO
THE 30S.
