A LARGE AREA OF HIGH PRESSURE OFF THE ATLANTIC COAST WILL CONTINUE
OVERALL WARMER AND MORE HUMID CONDITIONS FOR NORTHERN MICHIGAN THIS
WEEK...ALONG WITH PERIODIC CHANCES FOR SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS
A COUPLE STORM SYSTEMS WORK THROUGH THE AREA. THE BEST CHANCE IS
FRIDAY INTO SATURDAY AS A COLD FRONT DROPS INTO THE GREAT LAKES.
COOLER WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR THE WEEKEND BEHIND THIS FRONT.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL BE IN THE 60S OVER EASTERN UPPER AND
NORTHWEST LOWER MICHIGAN...WITH WESTERN UPPER AND SOUTHERN LOWER
REACHING INTO THE MID 70S. LOW TEMPERATURES TONIGHT ARE GOING TO BE
IN THE LOW 50S ACROSS ALL OF LOWER MICHIGAN AND UPPER 40S OVER THE
UPPER PENINSULA.

THIS IS THE HAZARDOUS OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER AND EASTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN. THERE IS A CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS FRIDAY AFTERNOON
THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING.
