AREA SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DODGE CITY KS
400 PM CST THU FEB 23 2017

AN UPPER LEVEL LOW LOCATED IN EASTERN NEBRASKA WILL MOVE INTO
CENTRAL NEBRASKA BY TOMORROW MORNING. AN ASSOCIATED SURFACE LOW IS
CURRENTLY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS, AND WILL MOVE NORTHEAST TONIGHT.
DUE TO AN INCREASED PRESSURE GRADIENT, THE HIGH WINDS WE ARE
EXPERIENCING WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE NIGHT AS THE SURFACE LOW
MOVES NORTHEAST. A MUCH COLDER AIRMASS HAS MOVED INTO SOUTHWEST
KANSAS BEHIND THE SURFACE LOW, WHICH WILL CAUSE TEMPERATURES TO
REACH ONLY THE LOWER TO MID 40S TOMORROW.
