URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL CAUSE SLIPPERY ROADS IN NORTH-
CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS MORNING...

.A strong storm system tracking northeast from northern Lake
Michigan today will continue to produce a wintry mix of precipitation
to north-central Wisconsin through mid afternoon before tapering
off later afternoon.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* TIMING...Snow will continue early this afternoon then taper off
  later afternoon. The snow may be mixed with freezing rain and
  sleet at times.

* ICE/SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...A total snow accumulation of 2 to 5
  inches is expected, mainly north and west of a line from
  Tomahawk to Rhinelander to Crandon to Tipler. An inch or two
  of snow is expected in areas to the south. Some minor icing is
  also possible due to freezing rain.

* MAIN IMPACT...Roads will remain slippery due to snow and ice and
  until pavement temperatures warm enough this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that snow, sleet, and freezing
rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slippery
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
