...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
1 AM EST MONDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MARQUETTE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM THIS
AFTERNOON TO 1 AM EST MONDAY.

HAZARDOUS WEATHER:

 * EXPECT WET SNOW TO DEVELOP EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND THEN DIMINISH
   AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. THE SNOW MAY BE MIXED WITH RAIN AT TIMES
   NEAR THE WARMING INFLUENCE OF BIG BAY DE NOC AND LAKE MICHIGAN.

 * THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL OCCUR BETWEEN MID AFTERNOON AND MID EVENING.

 * EXPECT VISIBILITY TO BE REDUCED AS LOW AS ONE HALF MILE DURING THE
   PERIODS OF HEAVIER SNOW.

 * TOTAL WET SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 2 TO 4 INCHES ARE EXPECTED AT MOST
   LOCATIONS. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL EAST OF A LINE FROM
   MUNISING TO RAPID RIVER AWAY FROM BIG BAY DE NOC AND LAKE
   MICHIGAN...WHERE LOCATIONS ON THE GARDEN PENINSULA SHOULD SEE AN
   INCH OR LESS OF SNOW.

 * PLAN ON HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS AT TIMES WITH REDUCED
   VISIBILITY AND SLIPPERY ROAD CONDITIONS.

   EARLY THIS AFTERNOON AND THEN TO DIMINISH AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT.
   THE SNOW MAY BE MIXED WITH RAIN AT TIMES NEAR THE WARMING
   INFLUENCE OF LAKE MICHIGAN.

 * THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL OCCUR BETWEEN MID AFTERNOON AND MIDNIGHT.

 * EXPECT VISIBILITY TO BE REDUCED AS LOW AS ONE HALF MILE DURING THE
   PERIODS OF HEAVIER SNOW.

 * TOTAL WET SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED AT
   MOST PLACES. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL IN AN AREA FROM STEUBEN
   TO SENEY...PINE STUMP JUNCTION...NEWBERRY AND GERMFASK. EXPECT
   LIGHTER SNOW AMOUNTS LESS THAN AN INCH NEAR THE LAKE MICHIGAN
   SHORELINE ALONG HIGHWAY 2.
