URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE

...PERIODS OF SNOW TODAY AND TONIGHT...

.Light snow will occur over the Idaho Panhandle and southeast
Washington today. Some roads will be slick this morning...but as
temperatures warm into the 30s this afternoon...many roads will
become wet. A quick moving upper level disturbance will likely
produce a swath of 2 to 4 inch accumulations tonight over the
Palouse, central and southern Idaho Panhandle, and the Spokane
metro. The Tuesday morning commute may be treacherous following
the snow that is expected tonight.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO
7 AM PST TUESDAY...

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 7 PM this
evening to 7 AM PST Tuesday.

* Locations...Coeur d`Alene, Post Falls, Hayden, Worley,
  Spokane, Cheney, Davenport, and Rockford.

* Snow Accumulations...2 to 4 inches tonight.

* Timing...Periods of light snow will occur today...but the most
  significant accumulations will occur this evening and overnight.

* Impacts...Light snow today probably won`t accumulate much on the
  roads. The snow tonight is expected to fall harder and produce
  widespread winter driving conditions by late this evening. The
  Tuesday morning commute will likely be treacherous...especially
  on untreated roads.

TUESDAY...

* Locations...Kellogg, Pinehurst, Osburn, Wallace, Mullan,
  Fourth of July Pass, Dobson Pass, and Lookout Pass.

* Snow Accumulations...1 to 2 inches of snow will be possible
  today. There is a good chance for an additional 3 to 5 inches in
  the valleys tonight with 4 to 8 inches in the mountains.

* Timing...Periods of light snow will occur today...but the most
  significant accumulations will occur this evening and overnight.

* Impacts...Roads will have the potential to be slick this morning
  before road temperatures warm late in the morning and afternoon.
  The snow tonight is expected to fall harder and produce
  widespread winter driving conditions by late this evening. The
