* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN SEBASTIAN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS...

* UNTIL 645 PM CDT

* AT 350 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN DUE TO A NEARLY
  STATIONARY THUNDERSTORM OVER THE CITY OF FT SMITH. THIS MAY CAUSE
  URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING IN THE ADVISORY AREA. RAIN RATES
  BETWEEN 1 AND 2 INCHES PER HOUR ARE ESTIMATED BY RADAR WITH THIS
  STORM.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT MAY EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  FORT SMITH...                     BARLING...

THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 540 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 5 AND 14.

DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND
UNDERPASSES AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
