...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Oklahoma...

  Poteau River near Poteau affecting Le Flore County.

  Poteau River near Panama affecting Le Flore County.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Poteau River near Poteau.
* until further notice.
* At  2:45 PM Tuesday, the stage was 31.70 feet.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Poteau River near Poteau will continue rising to
  near 32.5 feet Wednesday evening then remain nearly steady
  between 32.5 and 32 feet through Friday morning. The river will
  then continue to fall but remain above flood stage. Additional
  rainfall this week could impact this forecast and later updates
  should be monitored.
* Impact...At 32.0 feet, extremely severe flooding affects pasture
  lands and county roads from southeast of Poteau to the mouth of
  Brazil Creek. The access road to the Robert S Kerr airport may be
  flooded. This is a dangerous and life threatening situation.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Poteau River near Panama.
* until further notice.
* At  2:30 PM Tuesday, the stage was 42.56 feet.
* Flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring but the river is cresting.
* Forecast...The Poteau River near Panama will begin falling this
  evening. The river will fall to around 41 feet by Thursday morning
  and then remain nearly steady between 41 and 40.5 feet. Additional
  rainfall this week could impact this forecast and later updates
  should be monitored.
* Impact...At 43.0 feet, very severe agricultural flooding occurs.
  Numerous county roads are totally impassable. A water treatment
  facility near Panama is surrounded by high water. This is an
  extremely dangerous and life threatening situation.
