  Arkansas River at Van Buren affecting Crawford and Sebastian
  Counties.

  Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam affecting Franklin...Johnson
  and Logan Counties.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Arkansas River at Van Buren.
* until further notice.
* At  9:00 AM Tuesday, the stage was 33.11 feet.
* Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Van Buren will continue rising to
  near 33.2 feet this afternoon and remain nearly steady through the
  afternoon and evening hours. The river will then begain to slowly
  fall.
* Impact...At 33.0 feet, damaging flooding occurs along the Arkansas
  River floodplain from Moffett, Oklahoma downstream to Lock and Dam
  13. The port of Fort Smith and nearby businesses are flooded.
  Backwater flooding occurs in the trailer parks next to Lee Creek.
  Some residential subdivisions around Fort Smith are flooded. This
  is an extremely dangerous and life threatening situation.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam.
* until further notice.
* At  9:00 AM Tuesday, the stage was 366.52 feet.
* Flood stage is 357.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam will continue
  rising to near 366.8 feet Wednesday morning. The river will then
  begin to slowly fall.
* Impact...At 367.0 feet, Highways 309 and 288 northwest of Paris in
  Logan County are inundated by backwater up Six Mile Creek.
  Backwater flooding will spread westward into Franklin County at
  higher stages. This is an extremely dangerous and life threatening
  situation.

...Flood Warning extended until Friday evening...
The Flood Warning continues for
  The Lee Creek near Van Buren.
* until Friday evening, or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  8:13 AM Tuesday, the stage was 405.30 feet.
* Flood stage is 401.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The Lee Creek near Van Buren will rise to near 406.0
  feet this afternoon. The river will then fall below flood stage by
  Friday afternoon.
* Impact...At 406.0 feet, Tailwater Park is inundated by high water.
  Permanent structures in the park are damaged. Recreational vehicles
  in a campground near Rena Road are flooded.
