FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE TULSA OK
332 AM CDT TUE SEP 16 2014

RED FLAG...NONE.

.DISCUSSION...
A SMALL CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIST SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 44
TODAY DUE TO A STATIONARY FRONT STRETCHED ACROSS THE REGION.
WEDNESDAY WILL BRING A BETTER CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO FAR
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND WESTERN ARKANSAS...AS THE FRONT MOVES
NORTHWARD AS A WARM FRONT AND AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE CROSSES
THE AREA. MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA WILL SEE ABOVE NORMAL
TEMPERATURES FOR THE LATTER PART OF THIS WEEK...WITH NEAR TO BELOW
NORMAL HIGHS IN ARKANSAS. DURING THE WEEKEND...A STRONGER COLD
FRONT WILL COMBINE WITH TROPICAL MOISTURE FROM THE PACIFIC TO
BRING THE BEST CHANCE OF GOOD RAINFALL DURING THE PERIOD. BELOW
NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL LAST FOR A FEW DAYS BEHIND THE FRONT.
