THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION...
WITH MOSTLY CLEAR SKIES AND COOL TEMPERATURES... PATCHY FOG HAS
DEVELOPED ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE AREA THIS MORNING. THIS WILL
DISSIPATE QUICKLY WITH SURFACE HEATING AND MIXING AROUND SUNRISE.

TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE MID TO UPPER 70S THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA. WIND WILL INCREASE ACROSS THE WESTERN PORTION
OF THE FORECAST AREA DURING THE AFTERNOON AS WELL... WHICH WILL
CREATE A LIMITED FIRE DANGER.

CONVECTION IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ALONG A STALLED SURFACE BOUNDARY
IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS OVERNIGHT TONIGHT. THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE
THAT SOME OF THIS ACTIVITY COULD MEANDER SOUTH OF THE BORDER INTO
NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR SOME OF THIS
ACTIVITY TO BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
LOCAL SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY.
TUESDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...VERY HIGH FIRE WEATHER POTENTIAL...HIGH WIND POTENTIAL.
WEDNESDAY...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...HIGH WIND POTENTIAL.
THURSDAY...NO HAZARDS.
FRIDAY...WINTER WEATHER POTENTIAL.
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY...NO HAZARDS.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
BETTER CHANCES FOR SEVERE STORMS WILL DEVELOP TUESDAY AFTERNOON
INTO TUESDAY EVENING AS THE AFOREMENTIONED BOUNDARY SLIDES
SOUTHWARD INTO OKLAHOMA AND NORTHWEST ARKANSAS IN CONJUNCTION WITH A
POTENT UPPER WAVE TRAVERSING THE REGION. A PACIFIC FRONT/DRY LINE
WILL MOVE ACROSS THE AREA WEDNESDAY... CREATING EVEN BETTER
CHANCES FOR STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON INTO
WEDNESDAY EVENING. FINALLY... A COLD AIRMASS WILL FILTER INTO THE
REGION FRIDAY. WITH FREEZING TEMPERATURES EXPECTED FRIDAY
MORNING... THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR LIGHT SNOW WITH NO
ACCUMULATION EXPECTED.
