THIS OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHWEST AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS AS WELL AS
MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMA.

RISK...ELEVATED.
AREA...EASTERN OKLAHOMA AND WEST CENTRAL ARKANSAS.
ONSET...ONGOING.

DISCUSSION...
HEAT INDEX VALUES BETWEEN 100 AND 108 DEGREES WILL CONTINUE INTO
EARLY THIS EVENING. THE TULSA METRO AREA AND POINTS WEST WILL
LIKELY REMAIN ABOVE 75 DEGREES OVERNIGHT...WITH OTHER AREAS SEEING
RELATIVELY COOLER TEMPERATURES.

SPOTTER AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT ACTION STATEMENT...
SPOTTER ACTIVATION NOT EXPECTED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
SUNDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...DANGEROUS HEAT POTENTIAL.
MONDAY THROUGH TUESDAY...NO HAZARDS.
WEDNESDAY THROUGH THURSDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL...HEAVY RAIN POTENTIAL.
FRIDAY...THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL.

EXTENDED DISCUSSION...
HOT AND HUMID CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE ON SUNDAY AHEAD OF A COLD
FRONT...WHICH WILL PUSH SLOWLY THROUGH THE AREA SUNDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY NIGHT. THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL ACCOMPANY THE FRONTAL
PASSAGE...AND A FEW STORMS COULD PRODUCE DAMAGING DOWNBURST WINDS
AS THEY DEVELOP IN THE VERY HOT AIRMASS.

NOTICEABLY COOLER TEMPERATURES WILL PREVAIL FOR MUCH OF NEXT
WEEK...WITH THUNDERSTORM CHANCES INCREASING WEDNESDAY THROUGH
FRIDAY.
